Top 6 Free London Apps

There are lots of free apps that can enhance your travelling experience in London.

Here are a few of our favourites.
Use this list to discover free events, street art and what's going on throughout the capital.

The ‘Barclays Bikes’ mobile free app is available on iPhone and Android platforms. Winner of the most effective mobile travel and tourism solution at the Mobile Marketing Awards 2012, it has been redesigned to simplify your journey, helping you to just enjoy the ride.

The Street Art London App is part of the wider Geo Street Art Apps Project. The Project’s goals are to both help people locate street art within their cities but also to provide insight into the global street art scene and the artists who create these artworks all over the world.

Are you looking for a restaurant, pub or even a police station? This is the app you need.

Spoonfed's Radar App shows you what's going on near where you are, whether you're looking for music, theater, comedy, or other forms of entertainment.

This app calculates your cab fare and helps you plan a route.

As with most major cities, London's subway system is a bit daunting to first-timers. But you won't look like a first timer with either of these apps. Both provide maps of the Tube, as well service updates.

Don’t forget to download any apps before you travel or you can use London's many wi-fi hotspots when you are out.
