Comedy in London – big name comics in arena shows
UK comedians can be an acquired taste but we sure do make 'em over here. Our biggest funnymen - and women - are taking their shows on the road in 2012 and the 20,000 capacity O2 Arena in North Greenwich is going to be packed full of Londoners and tourists laughing their socks off to the likes of Michael McIntyre, John Bishop and Jimmy Carr.
Going to see some comedy is a must in London as people of all ages will appreciate it and it's an alternative evening's entertainment when you've already checked the theatre, London Eye and cocktails/ wine-tasting/ ale-drinking off your list.
Smaller, cheaper tickets are available in places like the Soho Theatre in Dean Street, Soho (which puts on stand-up, improv and new plays) or The Comedy Store in Piccadilly Circus.
This is your chance to see break-through acts before they hit the headlines and start appearing on UK comedy shows. Either way, look forward to big smiles at the end of the night!
