Here's our wishlist for this December in London - kick start your Christmas festivities a few days early and beat the crowds.
1. Winter Wonderland, Hyde Park
Skate at the ice rink, have a go on the rides and visit the Zippos circus.
2. Reindeer Lodge, London Zoo
After Penguin Beach, go and have a peek at Rudolph and friends, now open until Christmas Eve.
3. Oxford Street Christmas Lights
Don't forget to look up when you do your shopping - Regent Street and Carnaby Street also have great decorations and lights.
4. Christmas Carols, St Martins in the Fields
Choose from various themes (family, by candlelight, Norwegian) at carol performance nights throughout December.
5. Columbia Road Christmas Shopping Evenings
The shops on this East End street will be opening late on Wednesdays but should be less crowded than elsewhere
